Certificate from Guinness

I just received the certificate in the mail from Guinness for World's Tallest Mohican. It's Official!

About This Blog

This blog is, for now, a kind of re-cap for me. Breaking the record for World’s Tallest Mohawk happened so fast, I want to go through it step-by-step, just to see how it came together so well. So journey with me back to the beginning, from when this egomaniacal idea formed in my head, all the way up to the day the Hawk stood still. I hope this doesn't end up being a bore, but it feels like something I have to do, so I ain't gonna fight myself on it. I always lose anyway.
If you are new here, I would recommend reading the "Blog Prologue" post on June 25th, 2009, to see how I set up this blog, and go to the "Things to Know" section below to see video and pics of the record breaking day and the media coverage that followed.
Cheers!

My profile pic and the ones like it were shot by Alex Bond. Most of the pics from the conference were shot by paparazzibyappointment.com, and a few were shot by Jason Hahn. The band pics and video were shot by Allyson Richard and Sarah Pritchard. The video of the whole conference was shot by Wayne Brekke.

A few videos from the record breaking day and the media reaction in the weeks that followed.

This is the video that circulated throughout the world. Recorded by Wayne Brekke of Wolrds of Wayne, it shows the raising of the Hawk and the press conference:

An interview on CNN Headline News with Wayne Brekke and me:

This is a media montage I put together of media reaction from markets all over the country:
